Program Overview
The M.P. Ed. (Master of Physical Education) program is designed to provide students with advanced knowledge, skills, and practical experiences in the field of physical education. The program aims to prepare graduates to become competent physical education professionals who can effectively design, implement, and evaluate physical education programs and activities for individuals and groups of different ages and abilities.
The main objectives of the M.P. Ed. program are as follows
- To develop advanced knowledge and understanding of the theoretical foundations of physical education, including the principles of human movement, exercise physiology, biomechanics, motor development, and sport psychology.
- To enhance practical skills in physical education teaching, coaching, and program management, including the use of technology, assessment, and instructional strategies that promote physical activity, fitness, and health.
- To foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills related to physical education issues, such as curriculum development, diversity, inclusion, and ethical considerations.
- To provide opportunities for research and scholarship in physical education, including the ability to conduct original research and disseminate findings through publication and presentation.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate willing to seek admission is selected on the basis of an Entrance Test/Physical fitness test conducted by the C.C.S University, Meerut. B.P.Ed/ B.Sc. Physical Education, Health Education & Sports/B.P.E.S. with 50% marks (NCTE Norms ). Admission is based on physical Fitness test, Sports Weightages and Academic Merit.
Fee Structure
The fee structure shall be applicable as per the norms of Government of Uttar Pradesh (U.P.) / Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCS) Meerut.
