About the Journal
In the present scenario it has become pertinent for institutions of higher learning to provide a platform where all the disciplines are articulated in a manner where they have their own clearly demarcated space and yet have room for dialogue, collaboration, contestation, confirmation or negation across disciplines and this necessitates the multidisciplinary approach of the journal “HLM Journal of Applied Research”.
Aim and Scope
The HLM Journal of Applied Research aims to serve as a dynamic platform for the dissemination of innovative and practical research that bridges the gap between theory and practice across diverse fields. The journal is dedicated to publishing high-quality, peer-reviewed articles that provide significant contributions to applied research, fostering the integration of academic knowledge and real-world applications. Our primary objective is to promote the exchange of ideas and advancements that can directly impact industries, communities, and policy-making processes. The scope of the journal encompasses a wide range of disciplines, including but not limited to Science and Technology, Arts and Humanities, Physical Education, Management, Law & Education. We welcome original research articles, case studies, review papers, and technical notes that address contemporary challenges and propose viable solutions. Emphasis is placed on research that demonstrates practical relevance and applicability, innovative methodologies, and interdisciplinary approaches. Call for Papers
- HLM Journal of Applied Research : A Multidisciplinary Journal is a annual referred (double-blind peer reviewed) Journal of the HLM Group of Institutions that seeks to provide a specialized academic platform for the dissemination of research in the broad areas of academic disciplines including Science and Technology, Arts and Humanities, Physical Education, Management, Law & Education. The ambit of the Journal is international and submissions are subject to double-blind peer review process.
- Original and unpublished research papers/ scholarly article are invited for publication in the Journal. Research papers/ scholarly articles are considered for publication only if they fall within the ambit of the aim and the scope of the Journal.
- The submission of manuscript is open throughout the year on rolling basis. Since the periodicity of the publication is annual, manuscripts submitted till November 30 will be considered for December issue.
- The Journal does not levy any submission/publication charges. Further, the contributors are given a complimentary copy of the Journal.
Submission Guidelines
INSTRUCTIONS TO THE AUTHORS: MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- The Journal encourages the submission of works in the specified disciplines in a variety of styles including research papers, scholarly articles, case-studies, review essays and book reviews.
- Only original and unpublished work is sought for consideration of publication in the Journal.
- The submission of research papers/ scholarly articles is open throughout the year on rolling basis. Since the periodicity of the publication is annual in nature, manuscripts submitted till 30 november will be considered for December issue.
- Any research paper/ scholarly article that is identical to or substantially similar to a work already published or under review for conference / publication will not be considered.
- Unless clearly indicated, all correspondence will be with the first author.
- Receipt of all research paper/ scholarly article will be acknowledged.
- Each submission will be double-blind peer reviewed for technical merit and content.
- The first page of the research paper/ scholarly article should be the title page. It should contain the title of the research paper/ scholarly article and the name, designation and affiliation of the author along with the address, phone/fax number and email address of the author and co-author(s).
- The second page should contain the research paper/ scholarly article title, the abstract (not more than 150 words) and keywords (a minimum of 4 and maximum of 6 words).
- All the figures and tables should appear at the end of the research paper/ scholarly article; should be properly numbered in Arabic notation; and bear appropriate title and labels.
- The research paper/ scholarly article should normally be between 3000-5000 words including figures and tables typed in double space and printed in 12-point font on A-4 size paper with 1 inch margin on all four sides. All tables and figures must be serially numbered, sequentially following references to them in the text. All exhibits should be in black and white only.
- The research paper/ scholarly article should not contain footnotes. References should be placed at the end of the research paper/ scholarly article after the figures and the tables. The references should mention only those sources, which are cited in the text of the research paper/ scholarly article.
- The first paragraph of any section, including the introduction, should not be indented. Major headings should be left justified and bold with one line above and one line below the heading to separate it from the text.
- Authors are advised to follow uniform citation and referencing style throughout the research paper/ scholarly article.
Following discipline specific reference styles are accepted:
- APA/Chicago Style for Social Sciences, Home Science and Business Studies.
- MLA Style for Humanities.
- ACS/APS/IEEE for Science and Technology.

Publication, Review and Ethics Policy
Research paper/ scholarly article will be considered for publication only if manuscripts fall within the ambit of aim and scope of the Journal. The research paper/ scholarly article would be accessed on the basis of:
- Originality
- Relevance
- Quality of research
- Research contribution and applied significance.
The Journal does not levy submission/publication charges. Further, the author shall be given a complimentary contributor’s copy of the Journal.
Author owns the Copyright© of the research papers/ scholarly articles published in Researcher. Research papers/ scholarly articles published in the Researcher should not be reproduced/ reprinted in any form without prior written permission.

Peer Review Policy
This Journal operates a double-blind peer review process. All contributions are initially assessed by the Editorial Board for suitability for the Journal. Research paper/ scholarly article deemed suitable is sent to a minimum of two independent expert reviewers to assess the quality of the paper/article. The Editorial Board is responsible for the final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection of research paper/ scholarly article based on the reviewers' comments. The Editorial Board's decision shall be final.
Ethics Policy
Authors should submit only unpublished original research paper/ scholarly article that has not been submitted for publication or published elsewhere. A declaration by the author(s) should be made that the paper has not been sent elsewhere for publication. It should be made on separate sheet with the title of the research paper/ scholarly article, name(s) of the author(s)/ co-author(s), full postal address for correspondence and signature.
Any research paper/ scholarly article which is found to be plagiarized or if is having text match above the standards as fixed by the Editorial Board will be rejected out rightly. Authors are required to scan submissions using plagiarism detection software before submission of research article. Plagiarism (Urkund) report of more than 10% will lead to rejection of the paper. The author shall bear the full responsibility if any malpractice is detected. Author's involvement in any of the following will be treated as malpractice:
- Falsification of data
- Plagiarism
- Improprieties of authorship
- Misappropriation of ideas of other scholars
- Violation of generally accepted research practices
- Material failure to comply with legislative and regulatory requirements affecting research
- Inappropriate behaviour / correspondence
In such cases the decision of the Editorial Board shall be final and binding.
